All Hallows Eve

I love Halloween. I love everything about it, and even though I was sick (again) for Halloween, it was still a fantastic night with some of my favorite people. It definitely was not as much fun as last year remember this?I blame the fact that my midterms lasted for almost the entire month of October. Really school? October!! Someone needs to inform BYU that October is the BEST MONTH EVER.  But it was still fun, and the food was fantastic! I love putting on costumes and I am happy with the way my Katniss costume turned out, especially because it didn't come together until last minute! I also loved all of my wonderful friends and their wonderful costumes!!!

my life according to R2

I have seen this done on a few different blogs and I think it is such a fun way to look at someones life. Phone pictures are not always the most beautiful or exciting pictures but they show what is important and interesting to the person taking them.  Danielle Chips: yes maybe I bought them because they had my name on it, but they were also SOOOO good. I can't seem to find them again though. 

 Viv panted my nails. Didn't she do a wonderful job. ( I may have forgotten about it my half painted fingers until I arrived at work the next day!)

Boyfriend Barbie. Really? You can record your own voice and it talks back in a man voice. Sick. 

My mom thought maybe my old Minnie costume would fit.. When I pulled it out I couldn't help but laugh!

I had my first experience with Geo-caching. It was neat. I had fun. 

 Stout. I am a big fan of my name apparently. 

Best dress I have tried on in a long time. I still don't know why I didn't walk out of the store with it...

Summer Memories

Well it has been a while since I have posted so I thought I would showcase the "best of" my Summer!

I "fake" graduated. 

I am so glad I went to the graduation ceremonies, even though I had one more semester before I officially graduated. 

I found Cosmo, Tried to stand him up but he is much heavier than he looks. 

 Trip #2 to CA called for a trip to Joelatties!

 Great day at the beach, but we didn't sunscreen enough and had to deal with burns the rest of the trip...

Toy Story. 

We took Derek up to Rexburg to start school.

Soon I will have more of our adventure to Idaho. It was fun. 

the onepiece

I want this. Yes I just said that. I am not saying that I would wear it out, ever, but to wear around the house all the time I think it would be quite nice. The downside 179. That number my friends is how much this comfy, lovable onepiece is. That is right one hundred and seventy nine dollars folks. I definitely don't want this THAT much.  I guess for now my lame two piece PJ's will have to do.

Back to School

There is always something about the coming of fall that gets me excited about clothes. Actually, I am always excited about clothes so I guess I am even More excited about clothes. I think it is partly the fact that I am tired of all my summer clothes, and a new school year always calls for a few new pieces of clothing and jackets and scarfs and boots are always fun to me (until the snow comes then nothing if fun to me.) Here is this falls wish list. Let the shopping begin!

1. Gingham: I really don't know how I have made it this far in life without some gingham in my life. I want a button up shirt ( I am thinking in an aqua blue) but this dress would be ok too!!

2. Blazer: Every girl needs a cute blazer right! It is the perfect addition to a fall outfit. I have a tan one that I adore and this fall I was looking for a blue one. Last week I just happened to find the perfect one at gap! 

3. Trench Coat: Another classic item was needed this fall: a trench. I was actually looking for one last year but couldn't find one I loved. Luckily my mom found the perfect one for me as a graduation gift and it is sitting in my closet anxiously waiting to be worn! 

4. Floppy Hat: I have also wanted one of these for a LONG time. Just had to wait for the appropriate weather. I am thinking either one this color, orange or brown. What do you think?

5. Midi Skirt: I have been searching for the perfect mid-length skirt for a very long time with no luck. I love how vintage this one looks. Maybe a trip to Anthro is the answer?

6. Peter Pan: I am obsessed with this collar style. Why don't they have more in the stores? I love the idea of just an add on collar. I know What I will be making next!

7. Shoes: last but not least here is just a few of the shoes I have been drooling over lately.... 

I really can't wait until heels become a bigger part of my life. Walking around campus just isn't the best lifestyle for these dream shoes... 

It All Ends.

A piece of my childhood ended today with the last Harry Potter movie. Oh what a night it was. I think everyone wanted to go all out and celebrate the greatness of Harry Potter! The movie was amazing! I laughed, I cried, and I enjoyed every second of it!

The Gang

Derek saved some smoke bombs so we could take cool pictures. They are bloody brilliant! 

 Dezi didn't like the smoke so much. It hurt her eyes. 

This one is my favorite. I would not want to mess with Derek. 

Derek spent a good portion of the evening drawing dark marks on all of us. I am a little sad that mine has almost faded away. 

The night was only complete when I met up with Leianne. We have been going to Harry Potter premieres for a very long time! I was so excited to see that she dressed up to! 

It was the perfect night, and the perfect movie. As J.K. Rowling said:

 "Whether you come back by page or by the big screen , Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."
