Procrastination is kinda my thing so here I am finals week trying to cram everything I can into a few days... So it is 2.35 am and this song came to my mind. I used to love this song. Still do actually. Enjoy.

I can always count on the wonderful Carly to lead me to the best music around. She showed me this music video and I have been hooked on the song ever since. I love it. Thanks Carly! Love you!

Song of the Week 5

My Mom introduced me to Meaghan Smith, because she said she reminded her of me! I love her music and her style so I will take that as a compliment! I love her song on 500 days of Summer and so when we found out she had her own album we jumped on it. This is one of my favorites!

Song of the Week 4 = Best night EVER

This weeks song is a reflection of what I did. She & Him, one of my all time favs, was in Salt Lake, For Free, at the twilight concert in the park. Can you say amazing. Well it was. It was the BEST NIGHT EVER. When I finally get around to updating my blog, this will get much more detail, but for now just enjoy this and be jealous I got to see my idol zooey. I want to be her. This is one of my favorites. In The Sun.

Song of the Week 3.

I remember the first time I saw Noah and the Whale, my mom showed me their music video for "5 Years Time" we both immediately LOVED it, and the love just grew from there. I mean how can a band from Twickenham, London not be awesome. This song has always been one of my favorites. ITs off their first album and besides being catchy and fab, I love the lines "If love is just a game, then how come it's no fun, If love is just a game, how come I've never won, I guess it might be possible I might be playing it wrong." Love it. Love them. ENJOY.

I have really just jumped back into blogging today! Here is the latest song of the week!

Carly introduced me to this band this week Mumford and Sons. They are fantastic. I love the little Scottish edge they have to them. I love this song. It has great lyrics too! So here it is! This weeks song.

Song of the week.

So i have decided to start a song of the week. I have been thinking about it for a while and well what better time to start then now. I want the song of the week to be something that moves me. Either emotionally or just is so catchy I can't seem to forget about it.

This weeks song is an oldie. Its been around since before I was born and although I have heard it many times before I found a love for it last semester. But it wasn't until this week that it deserved the song of the week title. It really just hit me this week and I felt like it was more apart of my life this week then it ever has been before.

I grew up on the Beatles. I have been listening to them well probably since I was born. Thanks mom. Last semester I wrote a research paper about them and my love only grew stronger. They are amazing artist and although they didn't make some of the best life choices they were very honest about their life and their music really has made an impact on the world.
